Kim Woodburn dies aged 83 after short illness

Kim Woodburn has died aged 83 after a short illness, her family said.

The star was well known for her iconic appearances on the likes of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! and Celebrity Big Brother.

She first rose to fame co-presenting the Channel 4 series How Clean is Your House? which ran from 2003 to 2009, earning her the title of the ‘Queen of Clean’. With viewers picked up overseas, she ended up starring in a Canadian version titled Kim’s Rude Awakenings.

Woodburn also regularly made appearances on Loose Women and This Morning.

Her death comes after the star cancelled work commitments and stopped making videos for her Instagram page ‘due to a health problem’.

“No more videos for now, my loves, I need to get better!” she wrote in March this year.

“We will not be releasing any further details.”
